that’s... an odd design...
That’s Teziutlan General hospital, in Puebla State.
That massive roundabout joins up all the towns in the county of 100,000 residents, which is why I suppose they placed the hospital in the middle. BUT if you look closely, there’s no path into the hospital from the roundabout; you need to exit the roundabout, take another exit, into the road on the right side of the picture, and then go to the hospital’s main entrance.
WHY??

That almost seems worse than Newark airport.
Almost.

To be fair, nothing is worse than Newark Liberty.

Yes... Newark itself

At least the roundabout in Newark Airport makes a bit of sense. This round about has literally one entrance road and one exit road.

Except JFK and LGA

Seems a bit weird since left exits from a roundabout are pretty easy, since everyone wants to go right.

At least there’s a roundabout. In any major US city, this would have 4x as much roadway using nothing but interconnected elevated ramps with no rhyme or reason. You can see where you want to go, but can’t get there.
Ultimately, this helps keep healthcare costs down as people die in the ambulance.

I do Belive IMSS’ motto is “Oh shit you actually made it to the hospital?!?”

You're right. Half of the roundabout seems to only exist to make U turns for when you realize you can't get to the hospital from the road that circles around it.

as a casual cities-skylines player this and the intersection next to it makes me cringe.
